New factory construction with flexible logistics managed by SAP.EWM
We implemented an automated logistics system orchestrated by SAP.EWM for Krones AG at its Debrecen site. The system combines efficient warehousing with just-in-time assembly supply and ensures ergonomic and efficient picking and transport processes.
Task: Handling all production and assembly logistics for the new factory building
Solution: High-bay warehouse (in-house, double depth), automated small parts warehouse (double depth), 6 picking workstations each, WzP, bulky goods and cable storage, milk run for production and assembly supply
KPIs: 11.800 storage spaces high-bay warehouse & 20.400 storage spaces automated small parts warehouse · ≈180 pallets/hour and 360 containers/hour, assembly supply via milk run
