Compact warehouse – production and logistics merge

We built an automated compact warehouse for Vogtlandmilch GmbH as a flexible buffer between the production and shipping areas. The solution makes use of the entire space available in the existing building and, thanks to its low height of less than 7.5m, is not subject to many complex approval procedures.

Task: Factory expansion, seamless integration of production and logistics, maximum storage density with minimum cube

Solution: Automated compact warehouse with shuttle levels and superstructure for shipping and goods receipt, automated connection between production and logistics

KPIs: 4.400 storage spaces, in-house height 7.5m, · ≈50 pallets/hour, channel storage
