A major milestone was reached in November 2025: the expansion of the production integration at our customer Molkerei Alois Müller GmbH & Co. KG in Aretsried was successfully commissioned. The go-live marked the completion of a complex integration phase and the start of fully automated operations. The project created additional production capacity and further established the conditions for more efficient processes at the site.
Automated Production Integration in the Food Industry
Connecting production lines to an automated storage system presents demanding requirements – particularly in the food industry: strict hygiene standards, seamless traceability, high throughput and multi-shift operation are standard requirements.
At Molkerei Alois Müller, System Logistics implemented a fully automated solution that seamlessly connects production and storage – ensuring a continuous material flow from the production line to the high-bay warehouse.
As early as 2023, Molkerei Alois Müller began planning the expansion of its production capacities in Aretsried. The objective was to connect a new production hall to the existing facility, create additional space and further increase efficiency.
As a long-standing partner of the Theo Müller Group, System Logistics was able to draw on extensive experience from logistics projects already successfully implemented at the site.
Project planning was carried out in several phases: First, the existing production environment was analyzed as part of preliminary studies and a realistic schedule was established. This was followed by the basic analysis, development of a detailed concept and integration of simulation results for the planned processes.
From Construction Phase to Successful Go-Live
Construction began in summer 2024. Precise planning and close coordination among all project stakeholders ensured that the scheduled delivery and commissioning dates were met. In mid-September 2025, a decisive milestone was reached: the first pallet successfully passed through the newly installed conveyor system.
The expansion has enabled Molkerei Alois Müller to increase its production capacity. At the same time, interfaces with existing systems as well as solutions from other suppliers and technology partners were seamlessly integrated – all while operations continued without interruption.

The go-live is the decisive moment in a complex intralogistics project – the point at which planning, engineering, technology, software and the various teams involved come together to create a fully operational system.
